Blues Workshop
This course will consider the evolution of blues from basic 3 chord forms through bebop style blues. Topics include: 8 and 12 bar basic blues forms, 2nds and 6ths in blues improvisation, blues scales, pentatonic blues scale, comping, riffs (melodic patterns, boogie woogie, swing blues, funky blues, rock-style blues, New Orleans blues, blues in 3/4, bebop blues, and modal blues.
